Dr. Kenneth Larimore

LISW-S, PhD

Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director

Dr. Ken Larimore graduated from The Ohio State University with a master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). He also graduated from Capella University with a Ph.D. in Social Work and Community Services and has a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family from Fuller Theological Seminary.  He is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervisory designation (LISW-S) certified by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. Dr Larimore has gained clinical experience in working with children in the foster care system, working with abused victim, juvenile sexual offenders, and young adults aging out of the foster care system. He had started two treatment foster care networks over his 25 years in the field. Dr. Larimore also worked as a clinician in a private part-time counseling practice for 12 years.

Dr. Larimore is trained and experienced in diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental health issues often using the therapy techniques of Reality Therapy, Psychoeducation, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. He specializes in Reality Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. He also works with clinicians doing clinical supervision and provides various workshops in the area of mental health.

Dr. Larimore believes that all individuals should be treated with dignity and worth and he provides a  strengths-based perspective with clients, which builds upon the strengths of each client to solve their own problems.

Lesha Malone, MA, LPC, LCDC III, CCTP, CEDS

Lesha received her master degree and clinical mental health counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Lesha is a licensed professional counselor certified by the State of Ohio Counselor Social Worker in Marriage and Family Therapist Board a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor 3, Certified Clinical, Professional and Certified Eating Disorder Clinician Lesha’s internship experience was spent working with children teens and families and both residential and partial hospitalization facilities through the Buckeye Ranch. Lesha has a diverse set of treatment skills working with a variety of individual and co-occurring disorders mental health barriers addiction and substance use disorders. She is experienced in cognitive behavior therapy strength focused and motivational interviewing, specializing in trauma focused and eating disorder intuitive therapy. Lesha enjoys working with dual diagnosis, trauma and advocating for clients to be heard whether it be with family members, schools and/or legal systems. Lesha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, jogging, dancing, exercising.

Dr. Brian L. Bethel

LPCC-S, RPT-S, LCDC III, PhD

Clinical Supervisor

Dr. Brian L. Bethel is a Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor (LPCC-S), a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC III), and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S) with specialized training in counseling children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Bethel earned his PhD. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Ohio University where he also earned dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling. With over twenty years of clinical practice, Dr. Bethel brings a diversity of strengths to his clinical practice. He has dedicated much of his professional career to working with individuals impacted by trauma and continues as a mental health clinician for a Child Advocacy Center that serves children and families across southern and southeastern, Ohio.

In addition to his counseling practices, Dr. Bethel serves as an independent trainer and consultant. He has provided consultation services to various schools, social service agencies, court systems, and foster care agencies. Dr. Bethel serves as an independent trainer and consultant with the Ohio Human Services Training System and the Ohio Child Welfare Program where he was recognized for his training excellence as a recipient of both the “Rising Star” award in 2007 and the “Linda Pope” award in 2014. In 2018, Dr. Bethel was awarded an International Award of Excellence in Research from the Association for Play Therapy for his research on the use of play therapy for children with disabilities. Dr. Bethel is a frequent presenter at professional conferences and is recognized as an innovative, an exciting presenter on a local, state, national, and international level.

Leanna Marshall, MA, LPC

LeAnna received her Bachelor's Degree and substance abuse counseling from Ohio Christian University. LeAnna was a Chemical Dependency Counselor for two years, working with substance use disorders and individuals reintegrating back into society after being incarcerated. LeAnna also worked with drug court and family drug court clients. She completes her internship in December of 2022 and will have her Maser's Degree in clinical mental health counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary. LeAnna excels in working with individuals who have a dual diagnosis, trauma, substance use disorder, teens, adults, and incarcerated individuals reintegrating back into society. LeAnna has training in crisis counseling, differential diagnosis, group dynamics, counseling techniques, treatment of mood and anxiety, narrative approach to counseling, person-centered counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and assessment.

Elizabeth Claypool, MA, LPCC

Elizatbeth received her Masters in Professional Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. Elizabeth has over 7 years experience in the field, specializing in children and adolescents. She has worked in day treatment in the school setting as well as experience running family based groups. Elizabeth is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental health disorders often uses cognitive behavioral therapy , uses psycho-education and person-centered therapy. She believes in a holistic approach to best serve her clients.

Chad Beatty, QBHS

Chad has been certified as a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist and has received training in mental health and substance use disorders. Chad helps others in recovery skills and mental health symptom reduction skills. Chad has extensive experience with challenges students and parents face in the education system, lived experience in mental health and recovery. Chad helps others realize their psychiatric and substance use disorder symptoms and their impact on functioning and behavior in daily life, therapeutically engages clients, effectively responds to crisis using effective de-escalation techniques and will display a deep understanding of how the individual's own behavior can impact the behavior of others. Chads education has been in lived experience, has taken courses in criminal justice and has experience in faith based therapy for those that request it. He has been trained and certified by the owner Lesha Malone, LPC, LCDC III, CCTP, CEDS and works under the direct weekly supervision of one of he best therapists and clinical supervisors in the region, Dr. Brian Bethel, LPCC-S, LCDC III, RPT-S.

Jennifer Foreman, QBHS, CDCA, PEER RECOVERY SUPPORTER

Jennifer has been certified as a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist, Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant, and Peer Recovery Supporter, she has received training in mental health and substance use disorder and has developed parenting courses, she helps others in recovery skills and mental health symptom reduction skills. Jennifer has over 4 years experience in working with parents, children and families. She has spent the majority of her career working with parents and children involved in the legal court system. Jennifers education has been in lived experience, she is currently in college for her degree in social work, has been trained and certified by the owner Lesha Malone, LPC, LCDC III, CCTP, CEDS and works under the direct weekly supervision of one of he best therapist and clincial supervisors in the region, Dr. Brian Bethel, LPCC-S, LCDC III, RPT-S.
